WALKING ROUTES IN IRELAND
Experience the magic of Ireland! For those looking for a specialised walking or hiking holiday, walking tours of between 5 and 12 days are available on these eight National Waymarked Ways. All of these self-guided walking tours are fully customisable to your own requirements. We do the planning and organising, you do the walking!

What do we do?
We ensure you can comfortably get to and from your tour, reserve your accommodations, organise your luggage transfer each day. When all of this is in place, we send you a tour pack with OS 1:50000 maps, marked with your route and overnight stops, route notes and a selection of literature you will find useful on your trip.

What do you do?
Walk! Carry your camera, lunch pack, wear your vacation hat and hike to your heart's content. In your own time.

 

The Beara Way, Southwest Ireland
Kerry Way Walking Route - Rossbeigh StrandThe quiet south western corner of Ireland, hiking through low rounded hills, walking on old bog roads, exploring abandoned copper mines. The rocky coastline of the Beara Peninsula is a walking holiday dream. Visit Dursey Island by cable car, walk the green roads of Bere Island and sample the best fresh fish from the port of Castletownbere.

The Burren Way, Midwest Ireland
The Rockies of Ireland! This unique limestone escarpment overlooks the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. Your walking holiday takes you from the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, to the coast at Black Head, hiking the old green roads through rocky crags and finishing in the lovely village of Ballyvaughan on the shores of Galway Bay.

Burren Way Walking Route - Limestone PlateauThe Connemara Way, Western Ireland
Connemara is possibly Ireland's most spectacular and unspoilt region. The walking route through the heart of Connemara takes you from Galway to Westport through hauntingly beautiful monutain country, sparsely populated and spiritually lifting.

The Donegal Way, Northwest Ireland
Donegal is the centre of the north-west Gaeltacht, a region where Gaelic is the first language and where the traditional culture is promoted. This is the wildest, remotest and most exhilarating route in the country, culminating in the Slieve League Cliffs, the highest in Europe.

The Dingle Way, Southwest Ireland
Connemera Way Walking Route - Famine Road near Killary HarbourIreland's first peninsula in the south west corner, Dingle stretches into the Atlantic, the Slieve Mish mountains forming its spine. Majestic Brandon Head, one of Ireland's 1000m peaks, forms the western head and walking holiday here is a glorious drama of sandy beaches, unfolding mountains and accommodation in traditional Irish villages.

The Kerry Way, Southwest Ireland
